“The Blank Space Collectives have settled into their warehouses and we followed them through the weekend to see what they are up to. Friday, Saturday, Sunday featured live art, exhibitions installations, performances and workshops.”

Episode 03 : Collective Transformations

“The Blank Space warehouses keep changing by the day.

After workshops and experimentation, @kaos_decor fills its space with paper mâché pieces. @rooted_dxb has become a community space for film nights, comedy sessions, murals, music, and workshops. Khayala (@boubakerboukhari & @zhelieznova) have been creating new worlds through stop motion animation while @sahabcollective hosts writing workshops, circles and spoken word open mic sessions.

@studiothirteen_dxb continue to fill their SYLA(Support Your Local Artist) wall with artworks across mediums while hosting workshops and talks for the wider community. Finally, @animacolis has programmed poetry gatherings, listening nights, and open community hangouts.”
